What wood are Sweat Kingdom saunas made from?
All Sweat Kingdom saunas are built with premium Western Red Cedar, the same wood used in traditional Finnish saunas. Red cedar handles high heat exceptionally well, resists rot and mold naturally, and develops a beautiful aromatic finish over time.

Can Sweat Kingdom saunas be used indoors and outdoors?
The Sweat Box is indoor only. The Sweat Pod and Sweat Pod Blackout work both indoors and outdoors. The Sweat Barrel, Sweat Cabin, Sweat Cabin Deluxe, Sweat Cabin Blackout, and Summit are built specifically for outdoor use.
What is the Blackout Edition?
The Blackout Edition uses the Shou Sugi Ban technique, a traditional Japanese method of charring the cedar exterior. The result is a striking black finish that also makes the wood more resistant to weather, insects, and UV damage.
Do Sweat Kingdom saunas require assembly?
Sweat Kingdom saunas ship pre-assembled or in large panel sections depending on the model. Most setups take a few hours with basic tools. Detailed assembly instructions and video guides are included.
