This Shipping Policy applies to orders placed through our online store for delivery within the United States.

1. Shipping Area

We ship within the 48 contiguous United States for all products.

Alaska and Hawaii are not available for most products. Some products can be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii, and availability for those two states is shown on the individual product page or confirmed at checkout. Where a product page or order confirmation states that an item can ship to Alaska or Hawaii, that item-specific disclosure controls. If a product page does not state that Alaska or Hawaii shipping is available, that item ships to the 48 contiguous states only.

We do not ship to U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, or freight-forwarding addresses, and we do not offer direct international shipping for individual units.

Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout where required.

If a customer uses a freight forwarder or third party to move a product outside the United States after delivery to a U.S. address, Saunass is not responsible for loss, damage, delay, or warranty fulfillment outside the United States.

2. Shipping Methods

Most large products, including saunas, hot tubs, and cold plunge tubs, ship by freight.

Delivery is curbside or driveway only. Unless expressly stated in writing, shipping does not include:

  • installation;
  • assembly;
  • electrical work;
  • plumbing work;
  • crane service;
  • indoor placement; or
  • haul-away of packaging or existing equipment.

Smaller accessories may ship by parcel carrier.

3. Order Processing, Production, and Transit

Our catalog includes products from multiple U.S. suppliers, and fulfillment depends on the specific product you order:

Made to order. Some products are manufactured or built after your order is placed. Production begins once your order is confirmed, and the item ships once it is completed.

Ready to ship. Some products are already manufactured and held in stock. These items are prepared and shipped directly without a production wait.

Because production and delivery timing depends on the product and the supplier, the estimated timeframe for each item is shown on its individual product page. That product-page estimate is the controlling estimate for the item.

Production and shipping times are estimates only and can vary by season, model, supplier, carrier capacity, destination, weather, and other factors outside our control.

Some items may ship separately or on different dates. Orders containing multiple products, backordered items, preorder items, or split-shipment items may arrive in more than one delivery.

If a product page, written quote, or invoice states a different lead time, shipping method, or delivery note for a specific product, that item-specific disclosure controls.

4. Delivery Scheduling

Oversized freight deliveries generally require scheduling with the carrier.

We will try to accommodate customer scheduling requests when possible, but carrier routes and delivery windows are controlled by the carrier and are often rigid and pre-scheduled.

For oversized freight deliveries, an adult age 18 or older must be present to inspect the shipment and sign the delivery receipt unless the carrier and Saunass approve another arrangement in writing.

5. Customer Responsibilities Before Delivery

Before ordering and before delivery, the customer is responsible for:

  • confirming the delivery address is correct and accessible for a freight truck;
  • measuring gates, driveways, walkways, stairs, doorways, and installation areas;
  • ensuring the site is ready and safe to receive the product;
  • arranging any required electrical, plumbing, ventilation, drainage, foundations, pads, permits, HOA approvals, or code compliance; and
  • having adequate help or equipment available if the product must be moved beyond curbside or driveway.

6. Inaccessible or Undeliverable Locations

If the carrier determines that the original delivery location cannot be safely or reasonably serviced due to isolation, road conditions, access limitations, local restrictions, vehicle size, or similar circumstances, one or more of the following may be required:

  • delivery to an alternative accessible address, parking lot, or business location;
  • customer pickup from the carrier's local terminal; or
  • delivery using a smaller third-party truck if feasible.

Any rerouting, terminal hold, special-equipment, or smaller-truck charges may be the customer's responsibility. Smaller-truck delivery may add approximately $500 to $750, depending on route and availability.

7. Address Changes and Rerouting

Address changes or rerouting requests must be made as soon as possible.

If a change is still possible after order processing or shipment has begun, additional carrier or handling charges may apply and will be the customer's responsibility.

8. Missed Delivery, Storage, and Redelivery

If you miss a scheduled delivery appointment, fail to respond to the carrier, or the site is not accessible or ready when the carrier arrives, the carrier may assess storage, redelivery, rerouting, terminal hold, or return freight charges. These charges are the customer's responsibility.

9. Shipping Delays

If we become aware of a material shipping delay, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you and provide a revised estimate.

If we cannot ship within the time we promised and the revised timeline does not work for you, you may cancel the unshipped portion of the order and receive the applicable refund for that unshipped portion in accordance with law and our published policies.

10. Delivery Inspection and Damage Reporting

You must inspect the shipment at delivery before signing the delivery receipt or bill of lading. Note any visible damage, package shortage, or suspected freight issue on the receipt, take photos/video, and keep all packaging.

Claim timing:

  • Severe freight damage: refuse delivery and notify us immediately.
  • Visible damage or shortage accepted at delivery: report within 48 hours.
  • Concealed damage or missing parts: report within 5 calendar days.
  • Small-parcel items marked delivered but not received: report within 5 business days of the delivery scan.

11. Risk of Loss

Risk of loss and responsibility for the product pass to the customer upon delivery at the delivery location.

12. No Free Shipping

Unless a promotion expressly states otherwise in writing, Saunass does not offer free shipping.
