What kind of power does it need?

The Maxxus Seattle plugs into a standard 120V / 15A household outlet. It is plug and play, so there is no 240V line and no electrician needed for the cabin. The outlet is non-GFCI, and a dedicated outlet is recommended so the circuit is not shared with other high-draw devices.

Do I need to build or wire anything?

The Maxxus Seattle arrives as a complete cabin, not a room kit, and two adults assemble it in about an hour with most panels connecting by built-in buckle clasps. It plugs into a standard 120V outlet, so there is no framing, no wiring, and no plumbing.

What is the EMF level, and how many heaters are there?

The Seattle uses 6 FAR infrared carbon heating panels: two on the rear wall, one on each side wall, one under the bench, and one on the floor board. They are Low EMF, which means electromagnetic field readings measure between 5 and 10 mG when taken 2 to 3 inches from the panels.

How hot does it get?

The ideal range is 118°F to 132°F, and the sauna can reach up to 140°F. FAR infrared warms your body directly instead of heating the air, so it feels effective at a lower air temperature than a traditional steam or stove sauna.

How many people does it fit?

The Maxxus Seattle is a 2 person sauna, with comfortable room for two. The exterior measures 48 in wide by 42 in deep by 75 in tall, so plan a spot in a basement, home gym, master bath, or spare room.

Where can I put it?

Indoor use only. The Maxxus Seattle can sit on carpet or any indoor floor and works well in a basement, master bath, or home gym. Leave a few inches of clearance around the cabin for airflow, and keep it within reach of a standard 120V outlet.

What features are included?

The Maxxus Seattle includes an interior chromotherapy color lighting system with a red light feature, an interior LED control panel, a Bluetooth and MP3 aux sound system with built-in speakers, and a clear tempered glass door with a side window. The cabin is built from natural reforested Canadian Hemlock.

How is it delivered, and what is the warranty?

The Maxxus Seattle ships on a pallet by freight carrier and is delivered curbside. It weighs about 275 lb. It is backed by a 5-year warranty. Plan to have a second person on hand to help move it from the curb to the room where it will be set up.
