Power: The Toledo runs on a single dedicated 240V / 40A circuit that powers both heat systems, used one at a time. A certified electrician should install the outlet and breaker.

Heat: Infrared mode runs 120°F to 150°F. The Harvia 8KW stove delivers traditional heat at 170°F to 185°F, up to 194°F, with steam over the rocks. One mode per session.

Setup notes

  • One dedicated 240V / 40A circuit A single 240V / 40A circuit powers both the infrared system and the Harvia stove, used one at a time. A certified electrician should install it before delivery.
  • Assembly with two or more people Cabin panels connect with built-in buckle clasps; the 4 cartons assemble with two or more people; plan on half a day.
  • Indoor use only Place on carpet or any indoor floor, with a few inches of clearance around the cabin for airflow.

How many people fit inside the Toledo hybrid sauna?

The Toledo is built for six adults. The exterior measures 80 inches wide, 83 inches deep, and 80 inches tall, and the floating bench design keeps the interior open so a full group can sit comfortably without feeling cramped.

What is the difference between the infrared mode and the Harvia stove mode?

The Toledo gives you two separate ways to heat the cabin. The full spectrum infrared system uses 13 emitters, 5 carbon PureTech Near Zero EMF panels plus 8 near infrared elements, for a gentler heat that warms your body directly. The Harvia 8KW stove heats the air the traditional Finnish way, with rocks that let you ladle water for steam. You choose one mode per session, the two systems do not run at the same time.

How hot does the Toledo get?

In infrared mode most people settle between 120 and 150 degrees F, which is the comfortable working range for full spectrum sessions. With the Harvia stove the cabin runs much hotter, typically 170 to 185 degrees F and up to about 194 degrees F, with the option of steam over the rocks.

What are the electrical requirements for the Toledo?

The Toledo runs on a single 240V, 40 amp circuit that powers both the Harvia stove and the infrared system. This is a dedicated 240V line, so plan on having a certified electrician handle the hookup before the sauna arrives.

Is the Toledo wheelchair accessible?

Yes. The Toledo has a dual door entry with extra width and a retractable lower bench, so a wheelchair user can roll in and transfer comfortably. It is one of the few six person indoor saunas designed with accessibility in mind from the start.

Can I use the Toledo for yoga or stretching?

Yes. The lower bench retracts and the benches can be removed, which turns the cabin into a warm, enclosed studio for yoga, stretching, or mobility work. Many owners alternate between seated sauna sessions and hot stretching sessions in the same space.

How is the Toledo delivered and how hard is the assembly?

The Toledo ships curbside on a pallet by freight carrier in 4 cartons, with a total shipping weight around 1085 pounds, and the carrier schedules a delivery appointment with you. The wall panels clasp together, so two adults can assemble the cabin. The Harvia stove connection is the one step that needs a licensed electrician.

What warranty comes with the Toledo?

The cabin, heating panels, and electronics are covered by a 5 year limited warranty from Golden Designs for residential use. The Harvia stove carries its own separate manufacturer warranty. Register the sauna shortly after delivery to keep the coverage active.
