What kind of power does it need?

The Savonlinna runs on a dedicated 240V / 40A for the stove, plus 120V / 15A for the lights and music. A certified electrician should install the 240V outlet and breaker on a dedicated circuit.

Is this a traditional sauna?

Yes. The Savonlinna is a traditional sauna heated by an 8.0 kW electric stove with built-in controls. It reaches a classic 170 to 185°F, and you can pour water over the rocks for steam.

Can I add steam or loyly?

Yes. Heat the stove, then pour water over the rocks to create steam and loyly, just like a traditional Finnish sauna. The included bucket and scoop make it easy.

Can it go outside?

Yes. The Savonlinna is built for outdoor use. Place it on a level outdoor surface with a few inches of clearance around the cabin for airflow.

How many people does it fit?

The Savonlinna seats 3 people. The exterior measures 69" W x 68" D x 89" H (add 4" for roof overhang).

Do I need to build or wire anything?

The cabin arrives as a complete unit, not a room kit, and two adults assemble it. The one electrical job is the dedicated 240V / 40A circuit, which a certified electrician should install. There is no framing, no insulation, and no plumbing.

What features are included?

The Savonlinna includes the 8.0 kW stove with built-in controls and rocks, bronze Privacy Tempered glass door, interior ceiling galaxy star color therapy lighting system, interior LED Control Panel with built in FM Station and Bluetooth Connection, built in Performance Speakers, a sandglass, bucket, and scoop. The interior is Canadian Red Cedar.

How is it delivered, and what is the warranty?

The Savonlinna ships on a pallet by freight carrier and is delivered curbside. It weighs about 1185 lbs and ships in 11 cartons. It is backed by a 5 year electronic, 1 year stove warranty. Plan to have help on hand to move it from the curb to its spot.
