What kind of power does it need?

The Heming plugs into a standard 120V / 15A household outlet. It is plug and play, with no 240V line, no hardwiring, and no electrician required. The outlet is non-GFCI, and a dedicated outlet is recommended so the sauna is not sharing the circuit with other high-draw devices.

Do I need to build or wire anything?

No. The Heming arrives as a complete cabin, not a room kit. Two adults assemble it in under an hour, with most panels connecting by built-in buckle clasps. Once it is together, you plug it into a wall outlet and you are ready to go. There is no framing, no insulation, and no plumbing.

What is Low EMF, and how many heaters are there?

The Heming uses 7 FAR infrared carbon heating panels: 2 on the rear wall, 2 on each side wall, and 1 under the bench. They are Low EMF, which means electromagnetic field readings measure between 5 and 10 mG when taken 2 to 3 inches from the panels, lower than many standard infrared heaters.

How hot does it get?

The ideal range is 118°F to 132°F, and the sauna can reach up to 140°F. FAR infrared warms your body directly instead of heating the air, so it feels effective at a lower air temperature than a traditional steam or stove sauna.

How many people does it fit?

The Heming is a true 2-person corner sauna, with room for two to sit. The exterior measures 49 in wide by 50 in deep by 76 in tall and is built to tuck into a 90-degree corner, so plan a corner spot in a basement, home gym, or fitness room.

Where can I put it?

Indoor use only, and the cabin is shaped to sit neatly in a 90-degree corner. The Heming can sit on carpet or any indoor floor and works well in a basement, master bath, or fitness room. Leave a few inches of clearance around the cabin for airflow, and keep it within reach of a standard wall outlet.

What features are included?

The Heming includes an interior chromotherapy color lighting system with a red light feature, interior and exterior LED control panels, a Bluetooth and MP3 aux sound system with built-in speakers, and a bronze tinted tempered glass door with side windows. The cabin is built from natural reforested Canadian Hemlock in a Honey Dark stain.

How is it delivered, and what is the warranty?

The Heming ships as three cartons (about 420 lb on the pallet) by freight carrier and is delivered curbside. It weighs around 345 lb assembled. It is backed by a 5-year warranty. Plan to have a second person on hand to help move the cartons from the curb to the room where it will be set up.
