What is included, and what do I need to supply?

The kit includes everything inside the sauna: pre-cut Thermo Poplar wall and ceiling boards, benches, backrests, corner moldings, the all-glass door, duckboard floor, vent grills, vapor barrier, light, bucket, ladle, thermometer, and installation instructions. You supply the room shell: framing, insulation, electrical wiring, and the exterior wall covering.

Do I need to build a room first?

Yes. The kit lines a framed and insulated room, it is not a freestanding cabin. Build the room to your chosen footprint with a rough opening of 28 in by 80 in for the glass door, then install the interior boards, benches, and trim that arrive pre-cut to fit.

Which heater should I choose?

For the simplest setup, choose the Harvia KIP80B with manual built-in controls. For app control, choose any of the WiFi models. The Cilindro models hold more stones for a softer, fuller steam. The Virta is the premium pick and is the only heater that includes a safety railing. You can also order the sauna without a heater if you are supplying your own.

Are sauna stones and a railing included?

Every heater selection ships with sauna stones included. The protective safety railing is included only with the Harvia Virta. If you choose No Heater, neither the heater nor the stones are included.

What electrical work does it need?

If you select an electric heater, it needs a dedicated 240V hardwired line. Have a licensed electrician handle the connection to local code. If you order without a heater, wire the room to match the heater you plan to install.

What are the accessory packages?

Bench Skirting closes the open space beneath the bench for a clean, finished look. LED Under Bench Lighting adds a soft warm glow beneath the bench. Accessories are optional and you can add one or both.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. Because every interior component arrives pre-cut to your room size, a confident DIYer can assemble it with basic tools like a drill, level, measuring tape, staple gun, and utility knife. Many buyers also hire a contractor. The electrical connection should always be done by a licensed electrician.

What ceiling height do I need?

The recommended ceiling height is 8 feet per manufacturer safety and clearance guidelines. For custom ceiling heights, contact our support team. Wall boards run horizontally unless the room width exceeds 8 ft, in which case an interior seam is added where two boards meet.
